Humpback Whales

Being in the water with the majestic Humpback whales is an experience hard to forget. In many places, in order to protect the whales, it is possible to do whale watching only from boats within a safe distance, these tours still offer a wonderful experience for all the family including non-divers and opportunity to see different behaviors of the whales including breaching, jumping, spy hopes, tail slapping and fluke. Some special tours offer the opportunity to snorkel or freedive with the Humpback Whales. Though it is very rare to see the humpback whales while diving, in some destinations such as Archipelago Revillagigedo (Socorro) it is not very rare to see them while diving during the season.
