Guadalupe Island is a volcanic island located 200 miles southwest of Ensenada, Mexico on the Pacific coast of the Baja Peninsula.
The rugged island is 25 miles long and 4200 ft high.
The 4-night or 5-night Guadalupe itinerary provides an adventure for shark seekers to experience close and safe encounters in surface or submersible cages to experience seeing great white sharks.
The Socorro Aggressor Liveaboard anchor in a sheltered bay near Guadalupe Island where the cage diving shark encounter action will take place in clear blue water. The yacht stays here for 3 dive days where guests will rotate entering the cages every hour while seeing several sharks during each dive.
The cage diving liveaboard rotates guests in and out of the shark cages during the day.
Once you arrive at Guadalupe island, you will receive a safety dive briefing and will get familiar with the shark cages.
Unlimited diving is provided when using the surface cages and at least three dives to those using the submersible cages.
Once cage diving closes for the night, you will enjoy the beautiful sunsets and cocktail hour on the sundeck before dinner.
4 Nights Itinerary - 2021
Day 1 - Pick up at host hotels for transfer to Ensenada for 11:30 am boarding and 12 pm departure.
Day 2 & 3 - Cage diving from 8 am to 5 pm.
Day 4 - Cage diving from 8 am to 1:30 –2:00 pm and a 2:30 pm departure back to Ensenada.
Day 5 - Disembark at 12 noon, departure to the host hotel in Tijuana and the San Diego International Airport. It is suggested for guests to fly out late that evening.
5 Nights Itinerary - Starting in 2022
Day 1 - Pick up at host hotels for transfer to Ensenada for 11:30 am boarding and 12 pm departure.
Day 2, 3 & 4 - Cage diving from 8 am to 5 pm.
Day 5 - Cage diving from 8 am to 1:30 –2:00 pm and a 2:30 pm departure back to Ensenada.
Day 6 - Disembark at 12 noon, departure to the host hotel in Tijuana and the San Diego International Airport. It is suggested for guests to fly out late that evening.
All guests are picked up from the host hotels in San Diego, California & Tijuana, Mexico and transported to Ensenada, Mexico for boarding at 12 pm.
All dives are from cages attached to the yacht and use a surface supplied air source or hookah.
2 surface cages: 4 guests rotate in and out every 45 minutes.
1 submersible cage: 4 guests rotate in and out every 30 minutes.
Equipment needed is a mask, booties, gloves, hood, and a 5-7 mm wetsuit.

The Socorro Aggressor is a spacious 135 ft. yacht with a wide beam, built and powered for comfort, safety, and stability. She is diesel-powered, cruises at 10 knots, and has 220- volt power. Comfortable accommodations for 26 guests include 13 spacious master and deluxe staterooms each independently air-conditioned, a private head and shower, porthole view window, mirrored cabinet, hairdryer, fresh towels, and volume controls.
Each stateroom has a 32-inch flat-screen TV offering a selection of movies, TV shows, and documentaries. You will also be able to plug their computers into the TV screen to edit underwater pictures and video.
The Salon is an air-conditioned spacious lounge, well equipped with an LCD TV. The yacht has a satellite telephone, a library of movies, magazines, fish books, novels, and games.
The yacht has a beautiful spacious salon, a large sun deck with shading, chaise lounges and deck chairs, a bar, and a complete photo/video center.
