The island nation of Palau is made of approximately 340 islands located in the western Pacific ocean. It forms the western chain of the Caroline Islands in Micronesia, north of Papua New Guinea and east of Philippines. The interesting, mushroom shaped, rocky islands of the archipelago are covered with vibrant green jungles, giving visitors many photo ops of awe inspiring scenery. These small islands also host a huge variety of marine plants and animals in their rich and clear waters. And since Palau is so close to the equator, the weather is pretty much always perfect and sustains a dazzling underwater environment.
The Rock Islands Aggressor provides a unique SCUBA diving liveaboard trip to some of the most glorious and striking dive sites in Palau. During your cruise on-board the yacht you will have the chance to undergo some of what the area has to offer, like SCUBA diving on spectacular walls, channels, wrecks, blue holes, reefs and even caves. A range of hard and soft corals give shelter and provide homes to the abundant wild life that live right below the surface. Large pelagic species, like Hammerhead sharks, Manta and Eagle rays, turtles, Tuna, Barracuda, Jacks and more can be encountered on many sites, along side big and small reef species, as White-tip and Gray reef sharks, Groupers, Napoleon wrasse, Butterfly fish, Anemone fish, Lobsters, eels, Nudibranchs and many others. In addition to all this underwater beauty, you will be able to go on two trips to shore, where you'll see and experience some of the fascinating history and beauty of Palau. One tour will take you to Peleliu, where a grand WWII battle between Japanese and US troops occurred and left many rusting remains among the caves and trees of the island. And a second excursion to the magical beach on Ulong island.
