The special topography of the Red Sea, along side a few extraordinary dive sites and the abundance of life, make it a world-class dive location. Separating the African and the Asian continents, it is connected to the Indian Ocean in the south and to the Mediterranean in the north via the Suez Canal, making it a passage way for may ships throughout history. The amount of wrecks, of different ages, give it a wonderful, fascinating edge.
Trips on-board the Red Sea Aggressor II liveaboard let you explore many of the world famous wrecks and reefs, including the SS Thistlegorm, a German bomber from WWII; the Rosalie Moeller, a cargo sister-ship of Thistlegorm; Shag Rock, where a 1881 British cargo-ship sunk; the Dunraven, a Victorian steam-boat that hit the reef at 1876, while carrying goods from India; Ras Muhamed national park, at the tip of Sinai peninsula, offers many reef and pelagic marine life encounters; and the renowned Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon reefs in the Straits of Tiran. The diversity in marine animals includes more the 1000 species of all shapes and sizes. From little, macro critters to colorful reef fish and sharks, and pelagics like tuna, dolphins and even Whale sharks.
Itineraries start and end on Saturdays, leaving from and returning to Hurghada New Marina.
